A consideration

A consideration of how much faith we put into only what we can see... Pregnancy vs baby

*I just want to expound on this a little bit more.
     was talking with my aunt who is a newer grandma :) and she was explaining how her nerves were calmed when she heard her new born grand daughter's scream through the waiting room door.
why would it be more comforting that baby is out in the cold unpredictable world as opposed to relatively safe in her mommy's tummy?  not that I disagree.  there's certainly a sense of control when you can see if baby is twisted in her blanket and uncomfortable or when you have been experiencing the same harried travel so know that she's unhappy because she's just tired and bored like you are.
but
the unseen baby in the womb is so protected!  there's no questions about feeding or sleeping or if she's too cold or just pinched her finger.

ok.  I didn't quite wrap this thought up yet.  but maybe I just want to point out that it is illogical yet built in to our human psyche.
