-to think about our tzedakah box more often
-not to fib anymore

again. WOW that will be a hard one to qualify. but I will obviously be honest in my answer to myself...although...I'm also good at making excuses to myself.
the way this came up is I was feeling really good about work (my company won a recent large bid, I'm busy but efficient -so much so that I got up the nerve to suggest they have someone "assist" me) and then tried to relate that to called-workers work. how cool must it be to think that you may have saved someone's soul?! and then of course I realized that even though it's not my 9-5 job right now, I could do that. yes. I could do that.
there's a family that's been in my prayers lately ~ a childhood friend of mine is packing up (wife and four kids even) and moving accross the country; leaving a profitable construction business behind to lead the youth of a needy congregation. may the Lord bless them and keep them.
