This beautiful painting reminds me of the spiritual world that we cannot see and our guardian angels that surround us at all times, guarding and protecting us from the ever present darkness in this world that we live in. Thanks be to God that we belong to Him.

I have a snow globe that I really like and Carl will be getting a kids version this Christmas by one gramma and has been started on a real version last year by her other gramma.
And my idea for the Christmas tree painting was because I don't forsee us doing a traditional tree. Um. Ever. But it dawned on me that we could replace that with something even more wonderful and meaningful to us (because we aren't little stuff people but we are big stuff people. You know?). Something that would hibernate most of the year and then deck our halls when the joy of Christ's birth was upon us. Make sense?
