The mind

We watched a show that had a really driven character in it and the dedication was shown in his every thought and action.  The next thing that brought that same "focused mind" idea to me was thinking of the army and how it seems they drive you so hard it must simply erase straying thoughts and it kinda seems to make men/women machines.  So I looked up being a monk and found that St.Anthony the Great was the first -This blog post was awesome:  http://full-of-grace-and-truth.blogspot.com/2009/01/st-anthony-great.html
